Christine Svenson

Ms. Svenson, a fourth generation lawyer, is a highly experienced civil litigator who has successfully represented her clients before federal and state tribunals, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Illinois Division of Insurance, and the Illinois State Board of Elections. In addition to positive jury and bench trial outcomes, she has achieved favorable results before the Appellate Court of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Illinois.

Ms. Svenson represents employers and individual defendants in all types of workplace litigation, including sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, religion, disability and retaliation, wrongful termination, and workers’ compensation. She also provides advice and counsel to small and medium sized businesses related to employment issues.

Ms. Svenson also represents both women and men in family law and divorce matters. When handling issues of a highly sensitive nature, Ms. Svenson is always mindful of the “intangibles” while formulating litigation strategies. In addition to being a formidable advocate in the courtroom, she is a compassionate supporter and friend to her client through the difficult ordeal and beyond.
